Top 5 Funniest people on TV (in my view)
5. Ray Romano, writer/actor for the CBS series, Everybody loves Raymond. He's paid $2.8 million bucks per episode in the last season (!) but he's worth every penny of it. Now that the show is being re-run on Chan 9, it's really fun to see how the show has evolved over the 9 year period. & It's also amazing to see how he can sustain the show for so many seasons even though there is not much room for manouevre since it is based on just the family itself...
4. David Letterman, CBS late night show host. Ironically, he was also one of NBC talk show hosts' alumni and only moved to CBS when he lost the fight for the late night show in NBC to Jay Leno (who is not even that funny himself..). His wacky sense of humor has set him apart from the other hosts in the US and earned himself a reputation of being a probing interviewer.
3. Conan O'Brien, NBC late night show host. He's one of the funniest talk show host in the US and slated to take over Jay Leno's position as the NBC No.1 host in 2007.
2. 张非, legendary Taiwanese TV host that has one of the most popular talent shows in Taiwan, 综艺大哥大.

AND FINALLY....
1. Jacky Wu Zhong Xian, Taiwanese TV host that has shows lined up from Monday to Sunday (& is reportedly paid on an hourly basis..).
Absolutely love his jokes, & even though he sometimes goes too far, I'm continuously amazed by his endless stream of jokes. One catch: you have to understand both Hokkien and Mandarin to understand what he's talking about...
